HOW DOES OUR POWER SYSTEM WORK?

Our power system is meant to emphasize the narrative first and foremost. So rather than raw numerical scaling, every character has a set of core stats which represent their mental, physical and supernatural capabilities. All stats are ranked via descriptive tiers that represent overall capability within said category.

Additionally, each stat may also possess a "+" or "-" modifier. A "+" means that a character sits on the upper end of that tier, nearing the next category without fully reaching it, while a "-" indicates that a character sits on the lower end of that tier, weaker than the average member of that category while still remaining in it. For example,

Superhuman+ indicates someone nearing Exceptional capability.
Enhanced- indicates someone barely surpassing ordinary human limits.

Character stats are not chosen directly by the roleplayer unlike other servers. Upon submission of your character staff will evaluate your application to determine your stats. Meaning your stats depend on what you write, rather than serving as a point-buy system. As characters develop through RP, story arcs, training, trauma, and major events their stats may evolve over time at the discretion of staff. At the conclusion of major arcs, character stats may be reviewed and adjusted to reflect growth and or decline.

CORE STATS

Strength

Measures raw physical power, lifting capability, striking force, and overall destructive output.

Speed

Measures movement speed, agility, reflexes, reaction time, and evasive capability.

Intelligence

Measures problem-solving ability, tactical thinking, scientific knowledge, adaptability, and strategic planning.

Durability

Measures physical toughness, resistance to injury, and overall survivability under physical stress.

Stamina

Measures endurance, recovery capability, sustained exertion, and resistance to exhaustion or fatigue.

Skill

Measures ability proficiency, weapon mastery, combat experience, technique, and overall fighting capability.

Awareness

Measures perception, sensory sharpness, environmental awareness, tracking capability, and resistance to stealth or ambush tactics.

Presence

Measures force of personality, charisma, intimidation, reputation, leadership, and the ability to influence or affect those around you socially or psychologically.

POWER TIERS

Ordinary

This is for characters who are the baseline of normal human capability without significant enhancement, mutation, or specialization.

Conditioned

This is for characters individuals who have pushed human capability to its natural peak through intense training, discipline, or experience.

Enhanced

This is for characters who consistently operate beyond normal human limitations while still remaining relatively grounded in overall scale.

Superhuman

This is for characters whose capabilities clearly surpass conventional human and enhanced standards in both effectiveness and presence.

Exceptional

This is for elite level characters whose abilities, refinement, or overall capability place them among the most dangerous and respected.

Extreme

This is for characters whose capabilities are considered overwhelming even among powerful mutants and other heroes, often making them major threats within large scale conflicts.

Catastrophic

This is for characters whose existence alone poses severe danger to societal, environmental, or institutional stability due to the immense scale of their abilities.

Apocalyptic

This is for characters who are the rarest and most dangerous level of capability within the known universe, associated with entities whose power fundamentally threatens civilization, reality, or the future of the world itself.
