The stress and trauma system is meant to be a system to keep track of physical and psychological tolls which can be inflicted on characters overtime. Repeated exposrue to traumatic events, overwhemling pressure, betryal, and terrible experiences may erode a characters mental health over time, altering behavior and decision making. Mental stablity is measured through a percentage based system while physical injuries are measured through tiers.Β
100% β 80% -- Stable
The character remains mentally healthy and emotionally grounded with little to no noticeable instability.
79% β 60% -- Strained
Stress and emotional pressure begin affecting the characterβs behavior, judgment, or emotional state more noticeably.
59% β 40% -- Unstable
The character begins experiencing significant psychological strain, emotional volatility, paranoia, impulsiveness, or deteriorating mental health.
39% β 20% -- Critical
Severe trauma and instability heavily impair the characterβs emotional and psychological condition, often resulting in irrational behavior, emotional breakdowns, or dangerous decision-making.
19% β 0% -- Broken
The character has reached catastrophic psychological collapse. At this stage, trauma fundamentally alters the individualβs mental state, behavior, or overall identity.
DISCOMFORTΒ
Minor pain, brusing, soreness, with little impact on performance.
MINOR INJURY
Noticable injuries that begin effecting performance if left untreated.
MODERATE INJURY
Serious physical trauma capable of singifincalty imparing performance and effectiveness.
CRITICAL INJURY
A life threating injury that may result in impariment, incaptiation, or long term consequences without immediate treatment.Β
